The state as a whole has about 4.5 million people with a population density of 53 per km² making it one of the most sparsely populated states in the US.

You can also enjoy warmer weather in South Carolina compared to other states up north. A few hours drive from your home in the city and you get to see Myrtle and North Myrtle Beaches along the state’s Atlantic coast. Buying a real estate there as a holiday destination is also well worth your hard earned money.
