New York Real Estate

New York Real Estate

As unique and as rich as its inhabitants, New York’s real estate is also vastly diverse. At the beginning of the 20th century, New York was touted as the new metropolitan area where immigrants from Europe and other places overseas come and live. For the next several years, these immigrants, as well as the locals, catapulted the city into world-wide prominence by developing New York into one of the great places in the world. Today, New York City is a mixture of chaotic urban living, where skyscrapers grow taller by the years. Surrounded by the largest bridge and the longest transportation system in the world, New York has become a fashion center, an entertainment center, a financial center and a culture center

New York is mainly divided into three real estates: Downtown (or Downstate), the Upper West side and the Upper East Side (both Upstates).

The Upper East Side offers a breath taking view of the Queensboro Bridge against the East River. Quality living is at its best in the Upper East, as real estate properties here are surrounded by parks and many amusement centers. New York’s finest restaurants are also found in this district.

The Upper West Side is home to the trendiest of Manhattan. Here, prominent personalities from the art and culture scene to the financial scene prefer to live in this neighborhood. Most architectural structures in the Upper West date back to the pre-war era. And no matter what part of Upper West Side you live, the Central Park greets you, the moment you step out of your residence.

Downtown New York is where many commercial establishments are found, with Wall Street being the most prominent one. Residential apartments with complete amenities are a plenty. Surrounding this are parks and internationally famous dining places. One of this district’s special features is its quaint cobblestone streets, reminiscent of an older period of New York.

Truly, there isn’t any place like New York. Despite the devastating attack it incurred in September of 2001, it still stands as a one of the best places in the world.
