New Jersey Real EstateNew Jersey, so named as the Garden State back in 1876 in reference to many of its agricultural and farm products, is nestled between metropolitan states like New York and Pennsylvania. While mainly known for its garden and farming industries, New Jersey, is also notable for its contribution to construction, manufacturing, merchandising, mining and shipping. Although technically a small area, being the fourth smallest US State, New Jersey is a place offering big possibilities. And what residents from this state take pride of the most are its white sandy beaches. New Jersey’s sandy beaches, otherwise known as the Atlantic Coastal Plain, occupy a bigger portion of the area. This is where the famous Atlantic City is located. Atlantic City is, of course, a popular resort and leisure destination. More than half of New Jersey's land area is distinguished by its gentle rolling hills. Several of these areas offer upscale housing and real estate with unbelievable options. Downtown, the neighborhoods are lined up with appealing townhouses. Apartments ranging from the affordable and economical; to the luxurious types, are also found in many buildings. To the northeast of the Atlantic Coastal Plain lies Piedmont, a 20 mile area where industrial development is mainly supported. Jersey City, Newark, Elizabeth and Patterson are found in this district. Piedmont’s western part is typified by breathtaking lakes nestled among rock ridges that lpeep into its neighboring cities. The northwest corners of New Jersey’s real estate consist of mostly valleys and mountainous regions, where limestone formation is found. Cattle, dairy and apple orchards are typically the industries abounding in these areas. Outside the resort communities and industrial districts are estates that consist of mainly cool pine forests and vast salt marshes, as well as relaxing meadows surrounded by shallow lagoons. In the winter months, these places are perfect for skiing and many winter activities. On west side of the coastal plain, where the Delaware River flows, is a rich and fertile land ideal for farming and agriculture. Many charming suburban homes and recreational vacation houses are found in these areas. New Jersey Real Estate InformationNew Jersey is a picture of low maintenance living, often times an alternative to big cities like New York. The neighborhood is a mixture of both upscale and low-profile living, infused with ethically and socially diverse culture, ideal for starting or raising a family or even individuals wanting a fresh start.
