Located in the central part of California, about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento, the County of Solano is a region teeming with potentials and opportunities. Solano County is also known as the home of the Suisun Marsh, which, at 84,000 acres, is the largest contiguous estuarian marsh remaining on the West Coast of North America. The county is also home to the May Fair, the longest running annual fair in the State of California. It is held annually at the Dixon Fairgrounds.
